A prayer for my Father

I ask your prayers for my father who is going through a lot of troubles and difficulties at present. (I'd rather not elaborate in respect to him and my family.) I really do wish I could fly home from England to be with him right now, to take care of him and stand for him at work. My father is a strong man, and I have heard him cry only on two occasions, so to hear him cry on the phone was so devastating. I'm really frightened about what's going on back home and I'm quote anxious to return to California as soon my modules at school are finished. My mother hasn't slept for several days because he has been sobbing on his pillow non-stop. My family's morale is quite low, so they can't be of much support, especially when they're so tired from being with him. Please pray for them too.

Assist us, O Lord our God;
and defend us evermore by the might of your holy Cross,
in whose honour you make us to rejoice,
for your mercies’ sake.
