A Collect acknowledging God's creative power in the world

God of never-ending wonder, who in the dreaming birthed, to our amazement, the Creation into being: grant us such imagination and wisdom to work out with creativity the continuing expression of your marvellous truth; that the world, seeing the beauty of your holiness, may come to know the splendour of your glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

N.B. Could it be that hazy moments we have in our lives are essential to birthing wonderful acts of Divine Grace? After all, the Creation was birthed out of the chaos of the deep, and despite the disarray that may beset us from time to time, God can make beautiful out of the chaotic moments of our lives. I pray now for God to work the merciful purpose of his will in my life. In the midst of the storm, I know God will make ready the Creation. Pray for me as I pray for you. -J.L.
